The Tekuani is a tireless hunter, moving stealthily through vegetation or shadows, searching for weak or injured prey. Their group often hunts creatures larger than themselves. Their only weak point is that, although they hunt in groups, each Jornox is highly dependent on a leader whom they follow without question. If the leader falls, the hunt may fall apart, as the sense of cohesion and strategy that characterizes the pack is momentarily lost. The inhabitants of the nearby lands fear the Tekuani, as its chilling cry echoes through the night as a harbinger of death, and few manage to survive an encounter with this fearsome creature.
